Have You Seen….? (Vol. 4)

Welcome to a new feature!

Yes, I realize it’s a new feature, so it should be 1, but it’s part of our 4th volume of The Educator so…

We thought you all might enjoy reading new articles or books or watching some videos of things that may be relevant to you as an educator. So without further ado, allow me to present…

Have You Seen… this free webinar from The Chronicle of Higher Education called: Structuring a Course So That All Students Participate?

It’s a Virtual Forum where a panel is discussing ways to structure an (online) course so that all students participate. Featuring Jenae Cohn (Academic Technology Specialist @ Stanford University), Frank Harris III (Professor of Postsecondary Education @ San Diego State University) and Courtney Plotts (National Chair @ Council for At-Risk Student Education and Professional Standards), this hour long video addresses equity and access as well as tips for getting students to engage in group work!

Have you stumbled across an interesting watch or read that you think your colleagues would enjoy? Let us know and we’ll feature it in a future edition of Have You Seen….?
