About the author: Dr. Lisa A. Pleban is a Professor of Physical Education in the Castleton University Department of Health, Human Movement, and Sport. She is currently working on a sabbatical project that includes the development of professional learning materials for our faculty. 

The main topic goals of this presentation include understanding the use of rubrics and how to build good rubrics for both face-to-face and online instruction and learning.
