Student Taking Test

Call for Contributions: Help CU/See Me Highlight Our Students

Did you catch the Spring Convocation Video: Celebrating Diversity at the start of the semester?

Or perhaps over the course of the Spring 2021 semester you spotted an article in Sparty Says about Ray Awusi and his DEI inspired work on campus?

These are just a few of the ways that CU/See Me is sharing the important work our students, staff, and faculty are doing for our campus and our community. But we need your help!

1) It’s never too early to start planning the next spring celebration. With an eye towards Spring 2022, CU/See Me invites you to keep an eye out on your students’ work and projects. Art, poetry, written essays, skits, an interesting conversation, a unique narrative, a personal project… our community is brimming with creative ways to celebrate our differences and CU/See Me wants to share them during the next spring convocation! These contributions can happen live at the Spring 2022 Convocation or be pre-recorded, so a knack for the stage is not required to showcase their submission.

2) Want to share your students’ stories before Spring 2022? Submit your nomination to be featured in the CU/See Me Spotlight!

Send along your suggestions for the Spotlight and/or for Spring 2022 to: diversity@castleton.edu
