Connecting with Gratitude: CU Community Day

The CU Community Day on December 2 sponsored by the Pathway to Graduation Project seemed to be a hit!

Over 80 of us gathered for food, music, inspiring messages from President Spiro and Provost Mauhs-Pugh, and some happy holidays prizes. Mainly though, the event was a chance to reaffirm our ideal that Everyone at CU is an Educator and to share thoughts of gratitude with one another, especially for hanging in during a really challenging semester.

Thank you Electrostatic Cats, Gayle Malinowski and Jonathan Czar!

Prior to the event, people from all over the campus responded to the call to say some words of gratitude to other members of the campus community. These words were collected and included in a slideshow that played during the evening. You can watch the show below. Even though it isn’t being played to the awesome sounds of the Electrostatic Cats, you will probably find it pretty inspiring to see the energy that all of your colleagues bring to the campus:

The full statements of gratitude have been compiled as a gallery below. You can peruse them at your leisure. Thank you for all you do for our community!
