INVITATION: Innovation Lab Grand Opening


You are cordially invited to stop by the new “Innovation Lab” in Leavenworth Hall, Rooms 202 and 201, Wednesday, November 17th for a grand opening/open house.

Cookies and light refreshments will be served.

The innovation lab has been established through the collaboration of Upward Bound; the Archaeology, Geography, and Applied Anthropology Program;  the Center for Teaching and Learning and Educational Technologies/IT Services through the Pathway to Graduation Project; the Student Government Association; and the USDA Community Facilities Program, who have all contributed funding and time to set up the lab.  

Leavenworth 202 is a new telepresence classroom outfitted for active learning, and the adjoining lab space in Leavenworth 201 houses various digital makerspace technologies. 

The aim of the project is to provide students, staff, and faculty with introductions to new technologies that promise to have big impacts on teaching, learning, and creative endeavors in the coming years.
