The Castleton BHA is looking for officers in all positions for next year! This is an amazing opportunity to have a leadership position in conservation and to connect with other environmental organizations, such as the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF), Vermont Fish and Wildlife, and the US Forest Service just to name a few. Speaking from experience, BHA is a community of passionate outdoorsmen and women that is the voice of public land; land that is equally yours as it is mine. Not only would you find support in Spencer (VP) and myself with the club, but the national headquarters ready to answer any and all questions you’ll have along the way. It is strongly urged that you to apply so that we can keep this club alive here at Castleton; the abundance of natural wonders that surround our university is often overlooked, but is a staple of our community.
Additionally, if you are selected as an officer for the club you could have a chance to attend Muster in the Mountains in Virginia, eastern BHA’s celebration of the year. I attended Muster last year, and there is no better feeling than being surrounded by like-minded environmentalists that share the passion of conservation with you. We would be able to drive down and back with no expense to you; it’s gonna be a lot of fun.
Please email Adam Mitchell at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to be considered for any position, and as previously mentioned all positions (President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer) are vacant next year.
