For More Confidence, Try Tutoring

*Clinics Closed during Break*

The first couple weeks of the semester can be overwhelming. You’re settling into a new routine. Meanwhile, you’ve still got to master the course content, write papers, and prepare for tests and quizzes. Just thinking about it may make you nervous.

At the Academic Support Center, we want you to feel confident and enjoy your classes. That’s why we offer free tutoring to all Castleton students. Visit our Math and Writing Clinics and Accounting Lab for drop-in help with math, writing, and accounting. To request a tutor for a specific Castleton class, complete our Tutor Request Form. And through our partnership with Tutor.com, online tutoring is available for many classes 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To use this service for free, please click on the Tutor.com link on the left side of your course’s Canvas page.

We hope to see you soon. Our tutors love working with students – in fact, most of them are students themselves. And research shows that students who use our services earn better grades, on average, than those who don’t.

For more information about our tutoring programs and other services, please call 802-468-1347, email CUAcademicSupport@castleton.edu, or stop by our office on the first floor of Babcock Hall.
