Finals week is just around the corner and you may have some papers or projects that you’re trying to finish up before you’re off to summer break.
Luckily, the library is here to help!
Need to work on a group project?
Need a private space to focus?
Come to the Circulation Desk to get a private study room!
Need to unwind a bit?
Grab a stress buster at the Circulation Desk or check out a fun read from our casual collection!
Check our Ask A Librarian page for all the ways you can get in touch with us for help. Come on in (or Zoom on in) for a reference appointment to talk through your research, get help finding sources, and more! We love to help connect our users to the information they need. The Ask A Librarian Chat is staffed 24/7, so even when the library is closed, you’ll be connected to a librarian at another college who can help.
Before you hurry off to a well-deserved summer vacation, please remember to return your books so you don’t get bothered by overdue notices over break!
Wishing you luck on your finals and everything that follows them!

Visit our FAQ page for answers to questions about study spaces, printing, and more. You can also get in touch with us at (802) 468-1256 or library@castleton.edu.
Additionally, you can visit the library catalog to see if we have a book you’ve been meaning to read or books by an author you like. Or browse the New Books area, or the Casual Collection for recreational reading.
Take a look at some best books of the year lists for some ideas for recent, quality reads. You can use your free New York Times subscription to read the New York Times Book Review.
For another way to find what to read next, try our Books & Authors database. You can put in the title of a book you liked and get recommendations for similar reads. A free resource that works similarly, where you can also share what you’re reading with friends and keep track of your reading, is GoodReads.com. On GoodReads, you can join a group called Castleton University Reads and talk about books with other Spartan readers.
Get in touch with us if we can help you find something to read or with any research or if you’d like to recommend a book to add to our collection, etc.
