We are looking for volunteers to help at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Saturday, October 22nd at the Pavilion! Join us for a day of fun while we raise funds to help in the fight against breast cancer. We couldn’t run this event without our amazing community of volunteers.
Areas we need assistance with include, but are not limited to:
Set up for pre-event festivities:
Assist with setting up decorations, tables, route signs, activity stations.
Expected time of arrival for shift:
7:30AM – 10:30AM
Cheer on walkers/Work the water/food stations on the routes
As people walk by, cheer them on, give them items and replenish food as needed
12:45PM – 2:30PM or when walkers are done
Help with kids’ games:
Expected time of arrival for shift:
10:30AM – 3:00PM
Photo booth:
Help keep track of items from photo booth and take photos of participants with issued camera or with participants’ cell phones
Expected time of arrival for shift:
11:00AM – 3:00PM
Post event clean up:
3:00PM-4:00PM
