Virtual Reality headsets available for loan through Castleton library!

Hi all,The Castleton University Innovation Lab is pleased to announce that Oculus Quest 2 virtual reality headsets are available to check out from the Castleton library.  The loan period will be a maximum of 48 hours and 8 headsets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Headsets will come with basic startup instructions and a number of applications preloaded.  We will be adding additional applications and offering workshops on their use over the coming weeks.If you have never experienced virtual reality, this is a great way to get started! Her internship was a moving experience for her and the crew, that Lisa Donohue, Co-Owner of the Thrive Center and Part-time instructor at Castleton University wishes to share on the campus radio station(Date TBA!) along with other insights about internships as a whole. Want to see your friends graduate? Be an usher for graduation!

Hello, Graduation this year is on May 14th which is only about a month away. On that day we will celebrate the accomplishments of our graduating students, but to do so, we need your help! We are currently looking for about 25-30 individuals who would be willing to assist our graduates and their families by serving as ushers.   Your main duties as an usher will be to help with rehearsal on the evening of Thursday May 12th and then at graduation on May 14th. As an usher, you will be the face of Castleton as you welcome guests of the graduates and help them to their seats. You will also manage the facility and help to make sure the event is enjoyable for everyone.
