Greetings Castleton Community -- Did you know that anyone can register for a music ensemble at Castleton University? You can register for either one or zero credit. Registering for zero credit allows your current course load to not be overloaded for the semester. We have several instrumental and vocal ensembles! Rock Climbing Club!!

Interested in trying out Rock Climbing? Come join the Rock Climbing Club at 6:30pm in front of the Castleton Rock Wall on Tuesdays! The club also meets at 6:30 pm on Friday to take a van to the Rutland Rock Wall (all club members can join for free!!) No experience required, all are welcome! Meetings aren't mandatory so you can stop in whenever you have time but the more the merrier! Hello Spartans! As many of you have noticed, the weather is getting cooler, and there will soon be snow on the mountains. The Castleton Student Government Association has recently agreed to provide another year of skiing opportunities for our full-time matriculated undergraduate students through the Castleton Beast Pass. Vermont State University - Castleton students who meet that criteria will be able to ski free at Pico for the entire season and have the opportunity to purchase a discounted pass to Killington resort if interested (a link will be shared in the confirmation e-mail). Innovation Lab Hours!

In case you didn't know, Castleton University's Innovation Lab is dedicated to providing the campus community with access to state-of-the-art 3D technology.  The lab is equipped with six 3D printers (traditional FDM and resin printers), a Glowforge laser cutter, virtual reality headsets, 3D scanners, and high-end computers for digital design.  Students, staff, and faculty have been using the lab to make virtual reality models, print all kinds of 3D objects, create 3D models of local artifacts, and many other things.   The Innovation Lab is located in Leavenworth 201 and is available to all members of the campus community. The lab is staffed by student interns and has the following hours this semester: Monday: 1:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday: 5:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday: 10:00...
