Upcoming Audition Information!!

Thank you to everyone who participated in and came out to see this semester's productions No Exit and You're a Good Man Charlie Brown.  Now we ask you to come out and audition for next semester's productions: Hate Mail and She Kills Monsters! Joint auditions for these shows will be held on Thursday, NOVEMBER 30th from 5:30-6:30pm, 6:30-7:30pm, and 7:30-8:30pm. You must sign up for one of these hour-long blocks of time AND KEEP THE WHOLE HOUR FREE. You will be expected to stay the entire block of time to read sides with others auditioning.        Sign-ups have been posted to the call board outside the dance studio and are ready for you to pick a time! When Two Worlds Collide Please visit Anita Williams's Senior Art Exhibition "When Two Worlds Collide" in the library gallery! Her exhibit is here until Friday, December 8th, and it's not something you'll want to miss! There will also be an opening reception Saturday, December 2nd from 2-4pm. These exhibits are a culmination of an art student's entire college experience! If you can, please show your support of their accomplishments by checking their work out!

Global Studies Fieldwork and Travel to Uzbekistan | Four Spots Left!!

Sign up for the Spring semester course SSC 3820 Global Studies Fieldwork and travel to Uzbekistan in April break 2024.  There are only four spots left on the tour! The group and course will be closed for the enrollment by Tuesday, December 5th, 2023! This is absolutely a unique and a life-time opportunity to travel to and study in 2,500-year-old old cities on Uzbekistan's Great Silk Road: Tashkent, Bukhara, Samarkand, and Khiva.  You will have fun travelling, but can also earn 3 credits for GEU course SSC 3820 Global Studies Fieldwork.  You will see many fascinating historical sites, enjoy great Central Asian hospitality and cuisine, and learn about many crafts (silk paper, ceramic, Damascus steel, etc.).  This is going to be a small group...

Shucked Musical!

Do you want to see Shucked the Broadway Musical and spend some time in New York City? Well now's your chance! There will be snacks and drinks on the bus, but food in the city will be up to you. We will leave campus at 7:00 a.m. outside Glenbrook Gym on Saturday, December 2nd and arrive back on campus around 1 a.m. Sunday, December 3rd! University Chorale!

Wednesday, December 6th, 7:00pm Casella Theater on the VTSU Castleton Campus the VTSU Castleton Chorale and Chamber Singers present: Music From Many Worlds.  Our concert highlights the multicultural make up of our community by featuring choral music from countries some of our International students call home including Canada, Japan, India, Norway, Ukraine, and Mexico.   Come enjoy a choral tapestry from the sublime "Snow Angels" by Sarah Quartel, to the energetic Balleilakka by A.R. Rahman (Arr. Ethan Sperry). Other composers and arrangers include Donald Patriquin, Jim Papoulis, and Ola Gjeilo.
