Wednesday, April 17th | 9:30 am  to Monday, April 22 | 4:30 pm Embark on a journey of discovery and connection at the “Intercultural Artifacts Exhibition,” where the rich tapestries of the multilingual multicultural VTSU community come to life. This unique showcase organized by Multilingual Students Services and VTSU libraries features an array of artifacts collected from our diverse faculty, staff, and students, offering a glimpse into the personal histories and cultural heritages that enrich our campus community. Earth Week with the Greenhouse and Garden Club!

Hello all! The Greenhouse/Garden Club will be hosting a series of events for Earth Week and we hope to see you there! Monday, April 22nd | DIY Event Our club will be doing an origami activity within the Sustainability Team's DIY Earth Day workshop in the Campus Center Atrium from 4:30-6:30pm. Tuesday, April 23rd | Open House We will be hosting an open house in the Greenhouse where we will be painting pots and potting marigolds from 12:30-2pm. Wednesday, April 24th | Salve Making! Learn how to make botanical salve and take some home with you! This event will be in the greenhouse from 5-7pm. “Against My Will” Project

In commemoration of sexual assault awareness month, Artist Traci Molloy has collaborated with Castleton students, faculty, and staff to anonymously share stories of sexual harassment and assault. Molloy hopes to bring awareness to the seriousness of these experiences. Traci Molloy is a Brooklyn-based artist, collaborator, and educator. Molloy creates large-scale, multi-media collaborations with young adults across the nation who have experienced trauma. Five of her collaborations with young adults are in the Permanent Collection at the National September 11th Memorial and Museum. *Sponsored by the Vermont State University Center for Social Justice and Trauma-Informed Care and the Bowse Health Trust*

Graduation Ushers Needed!

Graduation this year is on Saturday, May 18th which is only about a month away. On that day we will celebrate the accomplishments of our graduating students, but to do so we need your help! We are currently looking for about 25-30 individuals who would be willing to assist our graduates and their families by serving as ushers.  Your main duties as an usher will be to help with rehearsal on the evening of Thursday, May 16th and then at graduation on May 18th. As an usher you will be the face of VTSU Castleton as you welcome guests of the graduates and help them to their seats. You will also manage the facility and help to make sure the event is enjoyable for everyone.
