The Name Change Please visit Mason Forrest Fleischer's Senior Art Exhibition "The Name Change" in the library gallery! His exhibit is here until Friday, May 12th and it's not something you'll want to miss! There will also be an Artist Reception Friday, May 12th at 4pm. These exhibits are a culmination of an art student's entire college experience! If you can, please show your support of their accomplishments by checking their work out! Info sessions for Uzbekistan trip in October!!

Sign up for the fall course SSC 3820 Global Studies Fieldwork and travel to Uzbekistan in October 2023. This is absolutely a unique and a life-time opportunity to travel to and study in three 2,500-year-old old cities on Uzbekistan's Great Silk Road: Tashkent, Bukhara and Samarkand.  You will have fun travelling but also earn 3 credits for GEU course SSC 3820 Global Studies Fieldwork.  You will see many fascinating historical sites, enjoy great Central Asian hospitality and cuisine, learn about many crafts (silk paper, ceramic).  This is going to be a small group of no more than 15 students from all VTSU campuses. “Against My Will” Banner Display

Exhibit Information: All Day Sidewalk Path, Academic Side of Campus Against My Will is a public installation featuring 20 double-sided banners created in partnership with individuals that have experienced trauma due to sexual assault. The images were made in collaboration with Brooklyn, NY based artist Traci Molloy, 10 former students from Alfred University, and 10 former students or staff from University of Maine.

Time is running out! Students:  Do you want to be heard?  Take the NSSE Survey! First-year and senior students are currently being invited to participate in Castleton’s NSSE survey (National Survey of Student Engagement).  Castleton uses this survey as a way to understand what students experience at CU, in their courses and around campus. It is a direct way to share what is important to you and what you want to see happen at Castleton! Eligible students will be sent an email with the link to the survey but it can also be reached from a link from your Canvas course dashboard. It takes about 10 minutes to complete. Quantitative Reasoning and Information Literacy Schedule: Spring 2023

The Quantitative Reasoning and Information Literacy assessment schedule has been set for the spring. If you don’t know if you need to complete these, please see your Advisor. If you are a new student, or one that started in fall 2021, spring 2022, or fall 2022 you can disregard this message. You can sign up for these on the Portal. Log into the Portal, click on Registration, then Search for Sections. Search for Quantitative Reasoning, and then click on CU Spring 2023 in the term section on the left. Click View Available sections. Find the one you want, and add it to your schedule. Do the same for Information Literacy. Make sure you “check-out” to get fully registered. If so, be sure to file your Graduation Application before March 20th to ensure you get your tickets for Commencement.   You can complete the Graduation Application quick and easy through your Self Service page.  If you have questions regarding your graduation status email registrar@castleton.edu or stop by to see Stephanie Cleveland or Heather Morrison by checking in at the front desk of the Financial & Registration Services Office in the basement of Woodruff Hall.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes!

They meet in the upstairs formal lounge of the Campus Center. Feel welcome to join in as they kick-off this semester with group discussions upon different topics of the Bible and have good fellowship with one another. Everyone is welcome to attend! This club isn't limited to just athletes- it is open to non-athletes as well, so everyone is invited to come and check it out!
