Castleton takes all such incidents very seriously. Hi Spartans! Looking to join a club this semester? Want to learn and educate others about Mental Health? Join Active Minds! Active Minds is a National Organization set out to fight the stigma surrounding mental health and spread mental health awareness. We hope to do a few programs this semester and more, collaborating with different clubs on campus as well! Counselor available on Tuesdays!

Good news from the Wellness Center!  Social worker Jackie Eddy will be on campus on Tuesdays from 8 am to 4 pm for in-person counseling sessions for students. ​Students will not need to use their insurance to pay for their counseling with Jackie.  The counseling sessions will be free of charge.   Jackie can provide help with everyday life stressors and challenges, communication issues, transitions, anxiety, relationship struggles, depression, self-esteem, and self-confidence. Would you like to see a private off-campus counselor?

Castleton has been partnering with the ShrinkSpace to assist you in finding a private practice counselor.  That service is still available and can be used just as it has before but it has a new name: Welltrack connect. Castleton University partners with Welltrack Connect to help you find off-campus mental health care providers. Connect makes it easier to find the best fit for your needs, with search filters for providers’ specialty, social identity, the health insurance they accept, and more. Click here to connect with providers who meet your particular needs. Welcome from the Wellness Center!

Greetings Castleton Students!   Everyone is Welcome Here! We are so excited to welcome new students to Castleton and to welcome back returning students!  The Wellness Center is open to all students this semester and we look forward to seeing you. The Wellness Center is located on the second floor of the Campus Center.  We are open from 9am - 4pm Monday - Friday.   Masks are required. Please see our website for our nurses' hours.  No appointments are necessary to see a nurse.   We will have five counselors available to work with students.  Students will be able to choose whether they would like to see a counselor in person or through telehealth (zoom), or a combination of in-person and online.  An app...

COVID-19 Update for Spring 2023

Welcome back for Spring semester 2023.  We are monitoring the increase in COVID-19 cases in our state and region, Castleton University remains committed to an on-time and in-person semester. There are some specific actions you can take now so that together we can minimize the impact of COVID-19 on that goal.     Testing  It is encouraged that all of you complete a rapid COVID-19 test.
