Earth Week with the Greenhouse and Garden Club!

Hello all! The Greenhouse/Garden Club will be hosting a series of events for Earth Week and we hope to see you there! Monday, April 22nd | DIY Event Our club will be doing an origami activity within the Sustainability Team's DIY Earth Day workshop in the Campus Center Atrium from 4:30-6:30pm. Tuesday, April 23rd | Open House We will be hosting an open house in the Greenhouse where we will be painting pots and potting marigolds from 12:30-2pm. Wednesday, April 24th | Salve Making! Learn how to make botanical salve and take some home with you! This event will be in the greenhouse from 5-7pm. Error 404: Books Not Found

Error 404: Books Not Found, a documentary made by Castleton Communication Program students, is screening for the first time on Wednesday, April 24th at 6:30 pm in Herrick Auditorium (Stafford Academic Center, room 146)! The documentary follows the story surrounding the failed attempts to digitize libraries at VTSU in spring 2023; a decision that sparked controversy and was ultimately rescinded by the chancellor’s office. After 18 months of dedicated effort, the filmmakers are excited to screen their film for the Castleton community! Q&A with the filmmakers to follow the screening. Free and open to the public.

Wednesday, May 1st at 5pm in the Hoff Hall Conference Room, there will be a ceremony celebrating and awarding the Graduating and Exchange International Students for their accomplishments at Castleton. The Christine Price Gallery happily presents "The Senior Art Exhibition" being held from Monday, March 25th - Wednesday, May 22nd! This exhibit will be a culmination of these students' entire university experience. Please show your support by checking out their work and visiting their reception! The show will include amazing works from Seniors Pamela O'Connor, Leon Bates and Chrystal Bean. Would you like to unite and educate the community while still having fun? Check out Spectrum Pride! Meetings every Thursday at 12:30 PM in Audet Classroom! Spectrum Pride's purpose is to create a safe community and environment for LGBTQ+ individuals as well as to raise awareness and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community. This is achieved through both events that Spectrum Pride plans and through creating a fun environment during our meetings.
