Spring 2021 COVID Planning Update

You had questions, Provost Mauhs-Pugh & Dean Proulx have answers!

You can use the following link to access the FAQ Provost Mauhs-Pugh sent out on Wed. Jan. 13: COVID FAQ for Faculty SP21

It is designed to answer many of the questions people have raised about teaching during the Spring 2021 semester.

In addition to this document, Dean Proulx is arranging Zoom calls to enable face-to-face conversations about the pandemic protocols for spring. These Zoom calls are your chance to hear the COVID19 plans and expectations for you, and our students. They will be part presentation, part question and answer (but sorry no refreshments provided). They will discuss:

  1. Arrival requirements for Student – Quarantine, Test, Pledge.
  2. Daily Operations for in-person classes.
  3. Surveillance testing procedures
  4. Castleton Passport – What is it?
  5. Questions and Answers

Here are the dates & times:

  • Zoom Call for Staff – Friday, Jan. 15 @2:00 pm
  • Zoom Call for Faculty – Friday, Jan. 15 @ 3:00 pm

If you still have questions after reading the FAQ and attending a Zoom call, please let Provost Mauhs-Pugh or Dean Proulx know.  We realize this is a challenging time and even, at times, scary.  We look forward to working together to create as productive and safe a semester as possible.
