Volume 19

So, here we are at the start of Week 6! The sun is out; the sky is blue. The grass is making an appearance, and (for those of commuting in) it’s still light out when we get home! Spring is on its way, and time is speeding by. We hope that the term has been going well for you and that you are looking forward optimistically!

Here’s what’s brewing this week:

Some important announcements:

The Soundings Program is seeking faculty lecturers and recommendations of outside lecturers for the fall of 2021. The program hopes to link Soundings topics to classes being taught during the fall to help engage students in the liberal arts and remind the students of our talented and well-versed faculty. If you are a faculty member interested in lecturing for the Soundings program, please contact Soundings Manager Marisa Valent at marisa.valent@castleton.edu to discuss.

Please remind/encourage your students to take the NSSE (National Survey of Student Engagement). The students access it through their email; the link is in an email sent today (Tuesday) to students.

Registration appointments begin on March 29; students start registering at this time. How up are you on Self-Service for your upcoming advising?

And here are some important deadlines for you to keep an eye on:

  • 3/16/2021 – Instructional Break: No classes!
