Have You Seen…? (Vol. 5)

Astute reader and colleague, Bill Wiles, asks:

Have You Seen… this article in The Chronicle of Higher Education called:
Bye-bye to these 10 practices already endangered by the pandemic?

Two weeks earlier, columnist Goldie Blumenstyk was on vacation and asked readers to weigh in on which higher-ed practices halted by the pandemic deserve to be gotten rid of? (As Blumenstyk says in the article, this question was “inspired by a series in The Washington Post called “Endangered Experiences,” which looks at commonplace practices of the pre-pandemic era — salad bars, conga lines, you get the idea — and explores whether they’ll be gone for good once we get past this virus.”)

What do you think? How have your practices changed for the better and what might you never go back to doing in your classroom?

[Have you stumbled across an interesting video, article, website, or other artifact that you think your colleagues would enjoy? Let us know and we’ll feature it in a future edition of Have You Seen….?]
