Allow Zoom to share screen on a Mac

Below are instructions outlining how to set the permissions to allow MacOS to share your screen.

Open Zoom and start a new meeting. Start a new meeting
Select Share Screen Select Share
Desktop 1 should be the default. Select it, and then click Share at the bottom right Desktop 1
If you do not have access your Mac will display this message. Select Open System Preferences Open System Preferences
Select the Checkbox next to Zoom. Your computer will then prompt you quit Zoom. Select ” Quit Now”.

It will ask you to end the meeting which is OK to do so. Select End Meeting and Zoom should be set the next time you start it.

Select Checkbox and quit

How to sign into Zoom

Below are instructions outlining how to sign into Zoom using your Portal credentials

 

Please download the latest version of Zoom Client for Meetings if you have not already done so: https://zoom.us/download Select Down Button
Once you have the program downloaded and installed you will need to open it. Select Sign In. Select Sign In
Select Sign in with SSO Select SSO
Type VSC in for the company name Type VSC
Your default web browser will come up. Sign in with your current Portal username and password. Sign in with current Portal credentials
Select Open Zoom.US Select Open Zoom US
Select your initials at the top right of the Zoom window and make sure you have successfully signed in. It should say @vsc.edu , and not @castleton.edu or your personal account. Select your name at the top right and make sure you are signed in @vsc.edu
