An Inclusive Campus

Dear Castleton Community, Last week, a student found a large sticker adhered to a light post on campus that included the logo of the white nationalist group Patriot Front and the words: Reclaim America.  Starting at first light, facilities and public safety began searching campus for additional stickers, documenting them, and then removing them.  We have found several as of this writing. Additionally, we have notified the Castleton Police Department and they will conduct an investigation.  If you see such a sticker, please let me or Dennis Proulx know of its location. We do not know at this time whether these stickers were posted by a member of the Castleton community or someone outside of our community. Its never too late to join the NAACP!  We meet Wednesdays in the Campus Center Formal Lounge at 6PM.  We are eager to see all of the returning members again and welcome new members.  Everyone is welcome to join the NAACP. Everyone brings something unique and special to the table. Dear Castleton students, This year, the Wellness Center has partnered with an organization called The Shrink Space to help you find off-campus private practice counselors.   What do I do?   Visit the Shrink Space website:  https://theshrinkspace.com On the list on the bottom left of the page, find Castleton University and click on that link.  The link will bring you to a group of mental health providers who are interested in working with Castleton students.   What is the next step?   The site will suggest that you sign up in order to be able to see all of the therapists available and specialized in working with college students.  Your identity will be anonymous to Castleton.  Only the ...
