The Castleton Figure Skating Club will have a meeting at Spartan Arena at 7pm on Monday November 28th.  Sign up and be part of a team that will compete against other universities or just enjoy being a part of a learn-to-skate program once approval is received as an official club at Castleton.  International figure skater, Raegan Toomey, has expressed interest in coaching the team! Astronomy Club!!!

Are you interested in studying the night sky? Or learning about the role of astrophysics in what we see? Or maybe just experiencing the unique opportunity to witness astronomical events in person? Stop by the Astronomy Club's first meeting Wednesday, November 16th at 12:15pm being held in Jeffords 221 (The Zoology Lab)! This meeting is non-mandatory, but we will be discussing the astronomical events we plan to view over the semester. Curling Club!

Hi Spartans,   Please consider joining the curling club! No experience required, we teach you everything you need to know and provide all equipment needed. The only thing we ask you to bring is warm clothes and sneakers. We meet every Wednesday for practice, and travel on occasional weekends for bonspiels (which is the term for curling tournaments). Transportation from campus will be available for all curling events and practices. Spectrum Pride!

Would you like to make a difference in the community while still having fun? Check out Spectrum Pride! Spectrum Pride's purpose is to create a safe community and environment for LGBTQ+ individuals as well as to raise awareness and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community. This is achieved through both events that Spectrum Pride plans and through creating a fun environment during our meetings. We play games and generally try to keep a lively and fun environment during our meetings and hope to spread community through inclusivity. Allies are more than welcome! We work with Residence Life regarding any issues on and/or off campus. Students, Faculty, Staff, Castleton Community (yes, EVERYBODY!)-Be part of a team that focuses on educating, creating awareness, and takes action to improve the ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY for our campus.  Some early thoughts include protecting our pollinators, bringing local farmers to campus in a farmers market, funding students driven projects, and much more! The chair of the natural science department, Dr. Vermilyea, and Nate Forgan, Eco-Coordinator, thought it would be a stupendous idea if the sustainability club were to get back up and running!
