Earth Week with the Greenhouse and Garden Club!

Hello all! The Greenhouse/Garden Club will be hosting a series of events for Earth Week, and we hope to see you there! Monday, April 22nd | DIY Event Our club will be doing an origami activity within the Sustainability Team's DIY Earth Day workshop in the Campus Center Atrium from 4:30-6:30pm. Tuesday, April 23rd | Open House We will be hosting an open house in the Greenhouse, where we will be painting pots and potting marigolds from 12:30-2pm. Wednesday, April 24th | Salve Making! Learn how to make botanical salve, and take some home with you! This event will be in the greenhouse from 5-7pm. Innovation Lab Hours!

In case you didn't know, Castleton University's Innovation Lab is dedicated to providing the campus community with access to state-of-the-art 3D technology. The lab is equipped with six 3D printers (traditional FDM and resin printers), a Glowforge laser cutter, virtual reality headsets, 3D scanners, and high-end computers for digital design. Students, staff, and faculty have been using the lab to make virtual reality models, print all kinds of 3D objects, create 3D models of local artifacts, and many other things. The Innovation Lab is located in Leavenworth 201 and is available to all members of the campus community. Here at Academic Support, we’re proud of our partnership with Tutor.com. Without replacing our in-person tutoring services, it allows us to help students when they need assistance. And while some people fear that Tutor.com offers an impersonal service, the new Talk Function will ensure that students can speak directly to their tutor. To access Tutor.com for free, click on the Tutor.com link on the left side of your course’s Canvas page. To use the Talk function, select Chat with Voice on the page titled Connect with a Tutor Now.
