Work Opportunity!

Paul Culpo, the Head Basketball Coach is looking for some people to work Saturday, April 8th  around the local area for the spring basketball tournament Castleton is having.  It will be $12/cash per game and games are roughly 45-50 minutes. You will be paid at the end of each workday.  People are needed to keep score/run clock, and work the door at each site.  If you have a car that would help but it is not necessary.  Times would be roughly 8 AM to 5 PM.  Please email Paul Culpo at paul.culpo@castleton.edu if you can work both days. *Photo credit: Bekky Bekks on Unsplash.com- paper waves with !

Work in Vermont. Lose Some of Your Student Loans.

The State of Vermont, in collaboration with the University of Vermont and the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC), is offering a $5000 loan repayment program to incentivize and retain new graduates from Vermont colleges and universities. Any graduate during the spring 2023 academic year with a Bachelor's degree can apply. Recipients will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis based on regional, employer, and institutional distribution criteria, as long as funding is available. Applicants must submit proof of employment when applying. Employment will be verified with the Vermont-based employer at two points: after one year of employment and after the second year of employment. For more information and the link to apply visit here!

It’s that point in the semester – papers, tests, and deadlines abound. It’s normal to feel overwhelmed. That’s why the Academic Support Center wants to remind you about our tutoring services.  We offer walk-in Math and Writing Clinics and an Accounting Lab. You don’t need an appointment: simply drop by our office in Babcock Hall during Clinic hours to speak with the tutor on duty. Need a help in a particular class?
