Break is here! Volunteers Needed!! | Breast Cancer Walk

We are looking for volunteers to help at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Saturday, October 22nd at the Pavilion!  Join us for a day of fun while we raise funds to help in the fight against breast cancer.  We couldn't run this event without our amazing community of volunteers.   Areas we need assistance with include, but are not limited to: Set up for pre-event festivities: Assist with setting up decorations, tables, route signs, activity stations. Expected time of arrival for shift: 7:30AM – 10:30AM Cheer on walkers/Work the water/food stations on the routes As people walk by, cheer them on, give them items and replenish food as needed 12:45PM – 2:30PM or when walkers are done Help with kids' games: E...

I AM VT, TOO!

The Root Social Justice Center and Rutland Area NAACP Branch present "I am VT, Too | Rutland Exhibition" in the VTSU Castleton Back Gallery at 104 Merchants Row in Rutland, Vermont. The exhibit will run until November 4th. "The Root Social Justice Center, in collaboration with the Rutland Area Branch of the NAACP,  will present the I Am Vermont Too photo-story project and panel discussion at the VTSU Castleton Bank  Gallery. This exhibit includes photos featured at the Statehouse in 2022 and new photos of Rutland-area  BIPOC- Black, Indigenous, and People of Color residents. The I Am Vermont Too photos represent BIPOC living and attending school in Vermont. Castleton Volleyball Club!

Hello!      The Castleton Volleyball Club would like to welcome you to our first week of pickup play! We will be in the Shape Gym (the big gym in the back, in Castleton Hall), Friday, September 22nd from 7-10pm. (The meeting times will be updated weekly!) Anyone is welcome! All genders, all skill levels, we don't discriminate! This club is open to anyone who wants to play volleyball or even just learn more about the sport. Sneakers are required to be worn inside the gym while playing. Wear appropriate clothing. We'd also like to recommend you bring a water bottle.
