Castleton Men’s Hockey Mental Health Awareness Game!

Friday, February 3rd the Castleton Men's Hockey Team is hosting their second annual Breaking The Ice on Mental Health Awareness Game. The game will be at 7pm at Spartan Arena against Elmira College. They have designed specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off throughout this week and shortly after the game. All proceeds go to benefiting Rutland Regional Medical Center Behavioral Health Services. There is also a raffle for a few different prizes (2 Bruins tickets, foursome to Rutland Country Club with Cart, $200 to Paramount Theatre).  Please consider bidding on a game worn jersey and also attending the game to help support such a great cause. Ireland Study Abroad Meeting!

Would you like to travel to Ireland? Join us for Comparative Justice: Ireland (CRJ 3740) offered this summer. Enjoy 3 weeks of exploration in Ireland and Northern Ireland (May 15-June 3). Topics explored during this travel course include: history, politics, culture, policing, courts, prisons, rehabilitation, juvenile justice, crime and social issues. Students will have opportunities to explore many wonders of Ireland such as Blarney Castle (and kiss the Blarney Stone), Cliffs of Moher, Giants Causeway, Glendalough, Spike Island, the Titanic Museum, and others.  Learn the details Friday (Feb 3rd) 12-1:00pm in Leavenworth Hall, 205.

Free skating Opportunity!!

The Castleton Skating Club invites all students to skate for free on Friday, February 3rd, between 5pm and 6pm at the Spartan Arena! Rentals are included at no cost! Valentines Day: Candy-Gram Fundraiser!

Hey Castleton!  Want to send a smile to a friend, professor, coworker, significant other, or crush this Valentine's Day?!?! Then the senior class officers have the perfect opportunity for you! We will be selling candy-grams and flowers for $2 dollars on Tuesday, February 7th from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Campus Center front desk!  If you receive one you can pick it up on  Tuesday, February 14th  (Valentine's Day) from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Greenhouse/Garden Club!

The Greenhouse/Garden Club is welcoming new members and we’d love to have you join! Meeting times: Tuesday in the Greenhouse at 12:30pm! We do all kinds of plant related activities and are working hard to get the garden scene back to Castleton by working with great people to get more native plants and pollinators on our campus. We also have other fun events like our Tea and Biscuits and Propagation Parties. Would you like to make a difference in the community while still having fun? Check out Spectrum Pride! We invite you to attend our meetings Friday at 4 pm in the Audet Classroom! Spectrum Pride's purpose is to create a safe community and environment for LGBTQ+ individuals as well as to raise awareness and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community. Hello CU family!!  Greetings from your NAACP family! We are so excited to welcome you all back for another great semester! We meet Mondays from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm in the Campus Center Formal Lounge! Come join them in preparing for Black History Month! Last year we accomplished so much together but the work is not done.
