Here for You: Academic Support over Break

At the Academic Support Center, we know that October break is a time to rest, relax – and work. Many students spend the week conducting research, writing essays, and studying for tests. And students enrolled in Community College of Vermont courses (CCV) must continue to attend classes and submit assignments since CCV and Castleton have different schedules. Although the Math and Writing Clinics are closed for break week, you can access free tutoring twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week through Tutor.com. Just click on the Tutor.com link on the left side of your course’s Canvas page. Our office will be open from 8am-4pm during break week, and our counselors will be available to chat with you i...

Faculty and Staff: We need your Help!

Hello faculty and staff, Do you want free babysitting during one (or more) Saturdays this semester? The dates we need participants for are Saturdays: October 15, November 12, and December 10, and participants can choose either the morning and afternoon, with the morning sessions starting at 8:30 am and afternoons starting at 1:00 pm.
