Virtual Reality headsets available for loan through Castleton library!

Hi all,The Castleton University Innovation Lab is pleased to announce that Oculus Quest 2 virtual reality headsets are available to check out from the Castleton library.  The loan period will be a maximum of 48 hours and 8 headsets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Headsets will come with basic startup instructions and a number of applications preloaded.  We will be adding additional applications and offering workshops on their use over the coming weeks.If you have never experienced virtual reality, this is a great way to get started! Reding on Pexels Charlotte Gerstein, reference librarian, has written the following regarding the content of the display, all present on the library's blog: While the amount of violence and destruction unleashed on civilians seems incomprehensible, we can strive to understand more about the region, the history of the region, military aggression in general, Russian leadership, what justice there might be for war crimes, and the experiences of war refugees, for example.
