Hi Spartans! Looking to join a club this semester? Want to learn and educate others about Mental Health? Join Active Minds! Active Minds is a National Organization set out to fight the stigma surrounding mental health and spread mental health awareness. We hope to do a few programs this semester and more, collaborating with different clubs on campus as well! Officer positions are also offered, so a great chance to become a leader within the group, and help our club grow even more! Interested in being a member of PAC? What to expect: Presentations will include the topics of rape/consent culture, systemic violence, historical roots of gender-based violence, family dynamics of life in an abusive home, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), attachment and trauma, and red flags in relationships that are controlling, unhealthy and abusive. You’ll learn best practices to help your peers as a victim's advocate and ways to get involved in education and activism...social change efforts right within our campus community! The Peer Advocates for CHANGE group includes student victim advocates who attend training to respond 24/7 to students in need of support for situations of stalking, relationship violence, sexual assault and/or harassment. ...
