The National Audubon Photography Show of 2022

The Rutland County Audubon Society is hosting an exhibit of the winning photographs of the 2022 National Audubon Photography Contest! The large format images are being displayed at the VTSU Castleton Bank Gallery on the corner of Merchants Row and Center Street in Rutland, March 22nd-April 27th. The stunning winners were selected from 10,000 photos and videos submitted by almost 2,500 photographers. The exhibit will be available for viewing every Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 12:00- 6:00 pm. The summer schedule is available and open for registration. You can access search for sections here: Course Listings.   Courses are offered in two sessions: Session I courses run May 28th – July 3rd  Session II courses run July 8th  – August 16th Students will need to reach out to their faculty advisors for approval to register for the summer term -Faculty Advisors will still need to approve students for registration through Self-Service. -If you have a financial hold on your account, please contact Student Finances about your bill; holds will prevent you from registering for classes. Innovation Lab Hours!

In case you didn't know, Castleton University's Innovation Lab is dedicated to providing the campus community with access to state-of-the-art 3D technology.  The lab is equipped with six 3D printers (traditional FDM and resin printers), a Glowforge laser cutter, virtual reality headsets, 3D scanners, and high-end computers for digital design.  Students, staff, and faculty have been using the lab to make virtual reality models, print all kinds of 3D objects, create 3D models of local artifacts, and many other things.   The Innovation Lab is located in Leavenworth 201 and is available to all members of the campus community. The lab is staffed by student interns and has the following hours this semester: Monday: 1:00 - 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM Tu...
