Graduation this year is on Saturday, May 18th which is only about a month away.
On that day we will celebrate the accomplishments of our graduating students, but to do so we need your help! We are currently looking for about 25-30 individuals who would be willing to assist our graduates and their families by serving as ushers.
Your main duties as an usher will be to help with rehearsal on the evening of Thursday, May 16th and then at graduation on May 18th. As an usher you will be the face of VTSU Castleton as you welcome guests of the graduates and help them to their seats. You will also manage the facility and help to make sure the event is enjoyable for everyone. As an usher, you will need to explain to friends and family members who do not have tickets how they can participate in the festivities. We will be livestreaming graduation in multiple locations on campus.
All ushers who live on campus will be allowed to stay in their rooms until Saturday after graduation.
Please consider being an usher. You will be able to help make the day a memorable event for all, and it will also allow you to see your friends graduate!
